True to her title as poster girl, she boasts incredible piloting skills that would put even professionals to shame. That said, she doesn't seem to have much regard for safety, and drives her motorcycle recklessly during her commutes to and from school (although she considers herself to be practicing safe driving.) Her best friend Mizuki is forever calling her out on this. Hence, she continues breaking her own record for her time to and from school daily. .

Though she lost her parents at a young age, because they were both engineers, as is her older brother Kaito, following in their footsteps seemed like a natural step for her to take. Still, for someone who not only serves as class representative at school, but who also runs the household she and Kaito live in, she’s completely devoted to following the fashion trends of her generation, so she’s not lacking in feminine charm. It was Mizuki who encouraged Iris to join Kirishina as a test pilot.
